Sinister Lore and Arcane Truth

These illustrations by Martin Hanford depict my character Professor Caleb Blackthorne III delving deeply into his arcane research, and the terrifying lore of the Z'xulth. During the course of his myriad expeditions across the globe, Blackthorne encountered the nefarious acolytes and cultists of the Chaos Fiends on numerous occasions, and inexorably learned the terrifying axioms of the Black Galaxy. In piecing together the sinister pieces of this terrifying occult puzzle, Blackthorne ultimately sealed his own fate.
Below are the original pencils, the b&w inked version, and the final coloured work.
